FLEarners

French to navigate everyday life and feel at home in France.

You live in France, but does French sometimes make you feel like you’re losing part of your independence?

A phone call to the doctor that you keep postponing.
A message from school that you read several times to make sure you understand.
A family dinner where you smile in silence because you can’t find the words.

I help expat women like you make French a part of their everyday life, so you can feel more confident speaking, build connections and finally feel at home in France.

You’re in the right place if…

🌿 You live in France (or you’re preparing to move here) and you want to find your place.
Whether you’re a mum, a student, in a relationship with a French person, here for work or simply starting a new adventure: you want to handle everyday life with more independence and truly feel at home.

🌿 You already know the basics of French, but using it in real life is still a challenge.
You’ve studied grammar, done exercises… but when a real conversation starts, the words disappear.

🌿 You want to stop depending on others.
Making appointments, asking questions, managing everyday situations… without waiting for someone else to translate for you.

🌿 You want to stop staying in the background during conversations.
With your colleagues, your partner’s family, other parents or your neighbours: you want to take part, not just listen.

🌿 You want to feel like yourself again, even in French.
Because you are so much more than your mistakes or the words you’re looking for.

That’s why I created FLEarners: to help you turn French into a real tool for the moments that truly matter.

An approach designed for real life

At FLEarners, you don’t just learn French: you learn how to use it in your real life.
Calling a doctor, communicating with your child’s school, talking with people around you or creating new connections… every step helps you feel more confident in your everyday life.

Because a language is meant to be lived before it is studied.

Who am I?

I’m Juliette, a French as a foreign language teacher.

juliette-professeure-francais-flearners

Before creating FLEarners, I taught for 10 years. I know what it feels like to understand a language… but not always be able to show who you really are when you speak it.

During my Erasmus experience in Italy, my travels and my own journey learning Japanese and Korean,
I understood something important:

Learning a language is not only about knowing rules.

It’s about being able to laugh with someone, ask a question without panicking, create memories and feel confident being yourself.
et se sentir capable d’être soi-même.

That’s why I created FLEarners: to support expat women
who want to turn French into a real tool to fully live their life in France.

💜 French as a foreign language teacher
💜 Supporting expat women in their life in France
💜 Former primary school teacher (10 years)
💜 Passionate about languages and cultural exchanges
💜 Basée près de Thionville, à la frontière luxembourgeoise.
